Competition Rules
Version 0.1 (draft) · Last updated 10 October 2026
Operator and data controller: Naitrons Limited, [registered address], Lagos, Nigeria (RC [number]).
These rules explain how the free weekly competitions in Triveelo games work: who can enter and win, how winners are chosen, and how prizes are claimed and paid.
1. Who runs the competitions
The weekly competitions on Triveelo are run by Naitrons Limited, [registered address], Lagos, Nigeria (RC [number]), referred to in these rules as "we" or "us". Promotional competition permit number: [promotional competition permit number].
These rules form part of the Terms of Use. By taking part you agree to both. If these rules and the Terms of Use disagree about a competition, these rules apply.
2. Free to enter
Entry is free and no purchase is necessary. You enter simply by playing a listed game while signed in. Gems and anything else bought or earned in our games cannot buy an entry, a better score or a prize, and do not increase your chances of winning.
3. How to win
The competitions are games of skill. Winners are decided only by the scores players achieve in a listed game during the week. There is no draw and no element of chance in choosing winners.
We run one competition for each listed game each week. A week runs from Monday at 00:00 to the following Monday at 00:00, Africa/Lagos time (West Africa Time, WAT). A score counts in the week in which it is submitted.
4. Prizes
In each competition, the top three eligible scores of the week win the prize set for first, second and third place. We show each prize on the game's page and the home page before or during the week. Where a prize is shown as "to be announced" and no amount is set by the end of the week, no cash is paid for that place.
Prizes are paid in naira by bank transfer to a Nigerian bank account in the winner's own name. Prizes cannot be exchanged, transferred to another person or paid in any other form.
5. Who can win
- You must play while signed in to a Triveelo account with a player profile. Guests can play but cannot win.
- Only adults aged 18 or over can receive cash prizes.
- Players aged 13 to 17 may play and appear on the weekly leaderboards, but cannot win cash. Where a player under 18 would have won, the prize passes to the next eligible score.
- One account per person. If you hold more than one account, all of them may be disqualified.
- We may exclude our own staff, and the close family of staff, from winning prizes. If we do, we will say so here before the competition week starts.
6. Ties
If two or more eligible players have the same score, the score that was submitted first wins the higher place.
7. Claiming a prize
After the week ends, we email each winner at the address on their account. To receive the prize you must:
- verify your identity by sending a photo of an identity document and a selfie, which a member of our team checks by hand; and
- add a Nigerian bank account in your own name, which we confirm with our payment provider, Paystack.
You do both from your account page. The name on your identity document and on your bank account must match the account holder.
8. Checking winning scores
Before we pay, we review every winning score, including the details of the run that produced it, such as when it started, how long it lasted, the distance covered and the Gems collected. We may disqualify a score, and withhold or recover a prize, if we reasonably believe it was achieved by cheating, by using software or devices that alter the game, by exploiting a fault, or in breach of these rules or the Terms of Use. Where a score is disqualified, the prize passes to the next eligible score.
9. Unclaimed prizes
If a winner has not verified their identity 30 days after we send the win email, they lose the prize and it passes to the next eligible score in that competition. We may also pass a prize on if a winner cannot be paid, for example because no bank account in their name can be confirmed.
10. Announcing winners
Winners are shown by their username on the game's leaderboard. We do not publish winners' real names, emails or bank details. If the law requires us to make the identity of winners available to a regulator, we will do so.
11. Suspending or cancelling a competition
We may suspend, cancel or change a competition, or void a week's results, if something outside our reasonable control or a serious problem affects it, for example a technical fault, widespread cheating or a requirement of the law or a regulator. If we do, we will act fairly towards players who have taken part, and announce the change on the site.
12. Your data
We use your details to run the competitions, check eligibility, review scores, verify winners and pay prizes, as explained in our Privacy Policy. Identity documents are kept only as long as that policy allows.
13. Law and contact
These rules are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Nigeria have jurisdiction over any dispute.
