This policy lists every cookie and browser storage item Triveelo uses, what each is for, how long it lasts and whether it is optional.
1. Cookies and browser storage
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. Our games also use "local storage", a similar feature that keeps data on your device, and a "service worker", which saves game files so they load quickly and work offline. In this policy we call all of these "cookies and storage".
Essential items are needed for something you asked for, such as staying signed in or keeping your game progress. They do not need your consent. Optional items, such as analytics, are only used if you agree.
We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not use cookies to track you across other websites. Adverts in our games are chosen by game, area and week (and, for opted-in adults, age group), not by tracking.
3. Storage used by the games
These items live in your browser on play.triveelo.com (and triveelo.com where noted). They stay until you clear your browser data.

4. Analytics (optional)
We may use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use our sites and games, for example which pages are visited and how long runs last. Analytics is switched off at present. If we switch it on:
- we will ask you first, with "Accept" and "Reject" given equal weight, and load nothing until you accept;
- rejecting has no effect on playing the games;
- you can change your mind at any time through the cookie settings link at the bottom of every page;
- we will update this table with the exact cookies before the change goes live.

5. Payment and other third-party pages
When you pay for a booking you are sent to Paystack or Stripe. Their pages set their own cookies, needed for secure payment and fraud prevention, under their own cookie policies. Sites that adverts or artist profiles link to have their own policies too.
6. Managing cookies and storage
You can view and delete cookies and site data in your browser settings, usually under "Privacy" or "Site settings".
- Blocking the session cookie means you cannot stay signed in.
- Clearing play.triveelo.com site data deletes guest progress for good. Create an account first if you want to keep it.
- Private or incognito windows forget everything when closed.

7. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy whenever we add, change or remove a cookie or storage item. The version and date at the top show the latest version.
