Terms of Use
Version 0.1 (draft) · Last updated 10 October 2026
Operator and data controller: Naitrons Limited, [registered address], Lagos, Nigeria (RC [number]).
These are the rules for using Triveelo: playing our games, creating an account, and using our sites. Please read them. If you are under 18, read them with a parent or guardian.
1. Who we are
Triveelo (triveelo.com and its subdomains, including play.triveelo.com, ads.triveelo.com and api.triveelo.com) is operated by Naitrons Limited, a company registered in Nigeria (RC [number]) whose registered office is at [registered address], Lagos, Nigeria. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Naitrons Limited, and "you" means the person using Triveelo.
Triveelo is a collection of free browser games set in Nigerian cities. The games are paid for by advertising placed inside the game world (billboards, signs, vehicle wraps, radio spots and shout-outs) and they include in-game radio stations that play music uploaded by artists.
2. These terms and the other policies
These terms apply whenever you visit Triveelo, play a game, create an account, book an advert or upload music. By using Triveelo you agree to them.
Some activities have extra terms, which form part of your agreement with us:
- the Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data;
- the Cookie Policy, which lists the cookies and browser storage we use;
- the Advertising Policy, which applies when you book an advert;
- the Artist Terms, which apply when you upload music.
If one of those documents conflicts with these terms on its own subject, that document wins.
3. Who can use Triveelo
Anyone can play the games as a guest. Accounts are only for people aged 13 or over.
- Under 13: you can keep playing as a guest. You cannot create an account.
- 13 to 17: you can create an account only once a parent or guardian has confirmed it by email (see Parental consent).
- 18 and over: you can create an account straight away.
To book adverts, upload music or receive payouts you must be 18 or over and able to enter a binding contract. If you act for a business or a group of rights holders, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for them.
4. Playing as a guest
As a guest you pick a username in the game. There is no sign-up. Your progress (Gems, items, settings and best scores) is saved only in your browser on that device. If you clear your browser data or change device, it is lost and we cannot restore it.
When you finish a run, your username and score may be sent to us so that you can appear on that game's daily, weekly and all-time leaderboards. Guest usernames are not reserved: another player may use the same name, and names reserved by account holders are not available to guests.
Do not use your full real name, phone number or any other contact details as your username.
5. Accounts and signing in
Accounts are optional for players and needed for advertisers, artists and payouts. One account can be a player, an advertiser and an artist at the same time. You sign in with a one-time code that we email to you; there is no password.
When you create a player account we ask for:
- your email address;
- a username (3 to 16 letters, numbers or underscores, unique across Triveelo);
- your country and city;
- your birth month and year (we do not ask for the day), so we can check your age.
You must give accurate information and keep your email address up to date. Keep access to your email account secure: anyone who can read your email can sign in as you. Tell us at [contact email for support] straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
You can sign out at any time, and you can delete your player account from your account settings. What happens to your data when you do is explained in the Privacy Policy.
A guest can move the progress saved on their device into a new account once. After that, the account's server copy is the record of your Gems and items.
6. Parental consent for 13 to 17 year olds
The Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 treats everyone under 18 as a child. If you are 13 to 17, we ask for the email address of a parent or guardian and send them a link to confirm your account. The link lasts seven days. Until it is confirmed, your account stays pending and you can keep playing as a guest.
For accounts belonging to 13 to 17 year olds:
- your age group is never used to choose which adverts you see;
- your public profile is kept to a minimum and does not show your city;
- we do not send you marketing emails.
A parent or guardian can withdraw consent at any time by contacting [contact email for privacy]. When they do, we delete the account and its personal data.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has an account without your consent, or has given us personal data while under 13, contact [contact email for privacy] and we will delete it.
7. Acceptable use
When you use Triveelo you must not:
- break any law, or help anyone else to;
- harass, threaten, bully or impersonate anyone;
- post or upload anything hateful, sexually explicit, violent, defamatory or that infringes someone else's rights;
- try to access accounts, systems or data that are not yours;
- interfere with the games, the servers or other players, for example by flooding the service with requests;
- scrape, copy or resell the games, leaderboards or adverts without our written permission;
- copy, decompile or reverse engineer the games except where the law allows it;
- generate fake views, plays or streams, or use bots, scripts or paid traffic to inflate them;
- use Triveelo to send spam or to collect other people's personal data.
Some of these acts may also be offences under the Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention, etc.) Act 2015, as amended. We may report suspected crimes to the authorities.
8. Usernames and leaderboards
Usernames appear publicly on leaderboards and profiles. Your username must not:
- be offensive, hateful, sexual or abusive;
- pretend to be another person, a brand, Triveelo or a member of our staff;
- include contact details, links or adverts;
- include your full real name if you are under 18.
We filter usernames automatically and may also change or remove a username, or remove a score from a leaderboard, if it breaks these rules. We may reserve some names for the platform.
A public player profile shows your username, country, city (adults only), level and badges. Leaderboards can be filtered by country and city. Weekly boards reset at 00:00 West Africa Time each Monday.
9. Fair play and anti-cheat
Leaderboards and experience points (XP) only mean something if everyone plays fairly. Every run is checked on our servers before its score is accepted, and XP is capped per run and per day.
You must not cheat. Cheating includes:
- changing game files, browser storage or network traffic to alter scores, Gems or items;
- using tools, bots or scripts to play for you;
- exploiting bugs instead of reporting them to us;
- sharing or selling accounts to climb the boards.
If we find cheating, we may remove scores, XP, Gems or items, reset progress, or suspend or close the account. Where we can, we will tell you what we found and let you respond.
10. Gems, items and upgrades
Our games include virtual Gems that you earn by playing, and cosmetic items, upgrades and zone unlocks that you can get with them. At the moment Gems cannot be bought with money. If we ever offer that, we will show the price clearly before you pay and update these terms first.
Gems, items, XP, levels and badges:
- have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money, goods or services outside the game;
- cannot be sold, transferred or traded between players or accounts;
- are a limited licence to use a game feature, not property you own;
- are kept for each game separately.
For accounts, our server holds the record of your Gem balance and items. For guests, they are stored only on your device. We may rebalance prices and rewards in a game to keep it fair and fun. If we close a game, the Gems and items in it end with it. None of this affects any rights you have under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018.
11. Our intellectual property
The games, their code, art, characters, sounds, voices, text, the Triveelo name and logo, and the design of our sites belong to us or our licensors and are protected by the Copyright Act 2022 and other laws.
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to play the games and use our sites for your own non-commercial entertainment, in line with these terms. You may share links to our games and take screenshots or short clips for non-commercial use, as long as you do not suggest we endorse you.
Street layouts in some games are based on OpenStreetMap data, available under the Open Database Licence. Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors.
12. Content you give us
"Your content" means anything you submit to Triveelo, such as your username, profile details, advert creatives, shout-out text, music, artwork and messages to us.
You keep ownership of your content. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, adapt (for example to resize or format), display and play your content as needed to run Triveelo and to provide the services you asked for. Adverts and music have their own licence terms in the Advertising Policy and the Artist Terms.
You promise that you have the right to submit your content and that it does not break the law or anyone else's rights. We check content before it appears in a game, but we do not have to publish anything and may remove content that breaks these terms or the law.
If you think something on Triveelo infringes your copyright, email [contact email for support] with the details described in the Artist Terms. We act on notices in line with the Copyright Act 2022.
13. Advertising in the games
The games are free because businesses and individuals pay to place adverts in them. Paid adverts carry a small "Ad" mark. We do not use pop-ups or interrupt play with adverts. Some adverts are our own "house" messages about Triveelo.
We do not run adverts for betting, loans, crypto, alcohol, adult content, politics or herbal and medical cures. Each advert is checked automatically and approved by a person before it goes live. If you see an advert that worries you, tell us at [contact email for support].
To count how often adverts are seen and heard, the games send us anonymous viewing and listening events. See the Privacy Policy.
14. Links to other sites
Adverts, artist profiles and our pages may link to sites and services run by other people, such as an advertiser's shop or an artist's streaming page. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, products or privacy practices. Read their terms before you use them.
Payments are handled by Paystack or Stripe on their own secure pages, under their own terms.
15. Availability and changes to the games
We work to keep Triveelo running, but we cannot promise it will always be available, free of errors or work on every device and connection. Some games can be played offline after a first visit, but leaderboards, account sync and adverts need a connection.
We may update, change, pause or retire games and features, including the way Gems, rewards and leaderboards work. Where a change takes away something important to you, we will give reasonable notice where we can.
16. Suspension and closing accounts
We may suspend or close an account, or block access to Triveelo, if:
- you seriously or repeatedly break these terms or one of our policies;
- we must do so by law or at the request of a regulator or court;
- your use puts other players, Triveelo or the public at risk.
Unless the law or a security risk prevents it, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond. You can ask us to review a decision by emailing [contact email for support]. Advertisers and artists have extra rules on refunds and payouts in their own terms.
You can stop using Triveelo and delete your player account at any time.
17. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or your rights as a consumer under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018.
Subject to that:
- the games are provided free of charge and "as available";
- we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, for loss of guest progress stored on your device, or for loss caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as power or network failures;
- we are not responsible for business losses (such as lost profit or opportunity) suffered by players using the free games;
- for paid services (adverts and artist spots), our total liability to you for any booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking, except where the law does not allow this limit.
We have tried to keep these limits fair and to draw them to your attention, as the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018 requires.
18. Indemnity
If you use Triveelo for business (for example as an advertiser or artist) and a third party makes a claim against us because your content infringes their rights or breaks the law, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs arising from that claim. We will tell you promptly about the claim and let you take part in its defence. This section does not apply to players using the games for personal entertainment.
19. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
If you have a problem, please contact us first at [contact email for support]; most issues can be sorted out quickly. If we cannot resolve it, the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria have jurisdiction, without affecting your right to complain to the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission or, for data protection, to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
If you live outside Nigeria, you keep any protections the law of your country gives you that cannot be removed by agreement.
20. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms to reflect changes in the law, in our games or in how we run Triveelo. The version number and date at the top of the page show the current version.
If a change materially affects you, we will tell you in advance, by email if you have an account or by a notice on the site, and give at least 14 days' notice unless the change is required sooner by law. If you do not agree, you can stop using Triveelo and delete your account.
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
